This policy explains what we collect when you use national.com.pk, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to this website and to orders placed through it.

The site is operated by M/s ICE AGE Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. ("National", "we", "us"), Okara, Pakistan. Online orders are fulfilled by ICEE Sales Centre, Okara.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, delivery address, phone number, email address, and the contents of your order. If you pay online, the payment is handled by our payment provider — we receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, not your card number.

When you contact us: whatever you send us — your message, phone number, photos of a fault, model and serial numbers, invoice details.

When you browse: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and how you reached us. This is collected through cookies and similar technology.

If you subscribe: your email address.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your CNIC number, bank account details or card numbers over WhatsApp, email or the contact form.

To keep the site working, secure and free of fraudulent orders

Who we share it with

Only where it is needed to do the above:

Shopify, which hosts this store and processes orders on our behalf
Delivery companies and road freight operators, who receive your name, address and phone number so they can deliver
Payment providers, who process online payments
Authorised service points, when a warranty claim or service visit needs to be assigned to one
Analytics and advertising providers, where you have accepted those cookies

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose information where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a government authority, and where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

The site uses cookies to keep your cart and session working, to remember your preferences, and to measure how the site is used. Essential cookies are needed for the store to function. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout will not work properly without the essential ones.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, service and accounting purposes. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry messages are kept while they are useful for support.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete information we no longer need to keep. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email, or by telling us. Write to us using the contact details below.

We may need to keep some records — invoices, warranty history — even after a deletion request, where we are required to or where they are needed to honour a warranty.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection and payments are handled by providers who specialise in it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what we hold and limit who inside the company can see it.

Children

This store is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.

Two things to settle before publishing: a real email address for privacy requests, and whether counsel wants a reference to Pakistan's data protection framework. I have deliberately not cited a specific statute — no comprehensive personal data protection act was in force in Pakistan as of my information, and citing a bill that has not passed is worse than citing nothing. Your lawyer should confirm the current position.
