About National

National is the home appliance brand of M/s ICE AGE Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. We have been manufacturing in Okara, Pakistan since 1992.

From six freezers to forty-five models

The company was registered in 1992 as a private limited company with a single purpose: to build reliable cooling equipment for Pakistani homes and Pakistani businesses. We started with six models of deep freezer, sold to households and to shopkeepers who needed cold storage that would survive daily use and an unreliable power supply.

That range grew. Today we produce more than fifteen chest-type deep freezer models — the widest selection available in Pakistan — covering everything from a domestic single-door cabinet to a triple-door unit with separate fridge, freezer and chiller zones.

In 2006 we entered refrigeration. We now build more than thirty-one refrigerator models, with curved glass doors, VCM steel bodies and the Direct Cool and inverter cooling systems suited to Pakistani conditions. Water dispensers, geysers, air coolers, washing machines, irons, room heaters, blenders and juicers followed.

How we build

Three production lines run at our Okara facility, each dedicated to a different product category. The company is ISO 9001 certified and builds to IEC — International Electrotechnical Commission — standards. Every unit is tested before it leaves the line.

We warrant the compressor in every refrigerator and deep freezer for its lifetime. We are able to do that because we build them here, we stock the parts here, and we service them here.

Designed for how Pakistan actually lives

An appliance sold in Pakistan has to handle voltage that moves, power that stops, and summers that do not let up. Our refrigerators are specified with a cooling retention figure — how long the cabinet stays cold with the door shut and no electricity — and it is printed on every product page, because it is the number that matters most here.
